Chongqing Wholechaintech Automotive Components Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese manufacturer of special vehicle bodies and metal surface treatment service provider, announced today the successful delivery of a batch of customized enclosures for power truck retrofit projects, marking another milestone in the company's capability to deliver high-quality, custom-engineered solutions for industrial clients.

The project was initiated on February 2, when the client, a leading domestic power equipment service provider, approached Wholechaintech with an urgent demand for custom enclosures to retrofit their power supply trucks, which are deployed for emergency power supply, outdoor construction, and disaster relief scenarios. The client required the enclosures to meet strict standards for corrosion resistance, structural stability, and custom internal layout to accommodate specialized power equipment, cable management systems, and operator workspaces, with a tight delivery timeline to support their 2026 fleet upgrade plan.

The entire project was completed in just 28 days from initial demand confirmation to final delivery, with every stage tightly controlled by Wholechaintech's standardized production management system. On the first day of the project (February 2), the technical team finalized the 3D drawings and technical specifications with the client, and issued the official quotation within 8 hours, eliminating the usual 3-5 day waiting period for custom projects. The BOM (Bill of Materials) and procurement list were completed within 2 days, and all required materials were sourced and delivered to the production line in 5 days, supported by the company's mature local supply chain system in Chongqing.

The production phase followed a tightly optimized schedule: cutting of materials for 18 units was completed in 3 days, followed by electrophoretic coating for all 18 units in just 1 day, a process that usually takes 3-4 days for most competitors. The electrophoretic coating process, one of Wholechaintech's core competitive advantages, provides an 80μm thick anti-corrosion layer that ensures the enclosures remain rust-free for over 8 years even in harsh outdoor environments with high humidity and extreme temperature fluctuations, far exceeding the industry standard of 3-5 years. Welding of the base plates, side panels, and roof panels was completed in sequence, with strict quality inspection after each process to ensure 100% compliance with the client's specifications, including pre-reserved equipment mounting holes, cable routing channels, and waterproof sealing structures.

Throughout the production process, the project team maintained daily communication with the client, providing real-time updates on production progress and addressing any adjustment requirements immediately. The final pre-delivery inspection showed that all enclosures met the client's requirements for structural strength, corrosion resistance, and custom layout, with zero defects, aligning with Wholechaintech's industry-leading 1% after-sales defect rate.

"The delivery of this power truck enclosure project is a testament to our ability to deliver high-quality custom solutions under tight deadlines," said Mr. Zhou, General Manager of Wholechaintech. "We understand that for our industrial clients, time is critical, and our optimized production process allows us to deliver custom products 30% faster than the industry average, without compromising on quality. This project also demonstrates our capability to provide customized solutions for special application scenarios beyond our standard product line of stake bodies, cargo bodies, and flatbed trailers."

It is expected to become a new growth driver for the company in the coming years, alongside its core export business of standard special vehicle bodies and hydraulic lift trailers.

Founded in 2014, Chongqing Wholechaintech Automotive Components Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of special vehicle bodies for commercial and industrial applications, including stake bodies, van bodies, corrugated bodies, flatbed trailers, and dual-axle hydraulic lift trailers. The company also provides one-stop metal surface treatment services including electrophoresis, powder coating, and spraying, with a current production capacity of 500 units per month and a 34-person professional production and technical team.
