Following the 2026 International Workers’ Day holiday, Whole Chain Tech, a China-based professional trailer and cargo box manufacturer, today shared details of its down-to-earth employee holiday arrangements, including a 5-day fully paid leave policy and customized festival gift packages for all 40 employees across its production, R&D, sales and administrative teams. The move reflects the company’s practical people-first corporate culture, which prioritizes sincere, tangible care for all team members as the foundation of its steady growth.
All employees received curated, practical gift packs, including high-quality organic grain and food boxes, universal retail gift cards, and customized daily necessities. Frontline production workshop employees also received additional upgraded work gloves, heatstroke prevention supplies and labor protection kits, as a special recognition of their hard work in daily workshop operations. The 5-day paid leave policy extended 2 extra days beyond the national statutory 3-day May Day holiday requirement, allowing all employees to arrange their own rest time freely, whether spending quality time with family, taking short local trips, or resting at home.
"I have worked at Whole Chain Tech for 3 years, and every holiday the company prepares really practical gifts that we can use in daily life, not fancy useless items, which feels very thoughtful," said Wang Ming, a senior welding technician in the production workshop. "This year I used the extra 2 days of leave to take my wife and kid to a nearby ecological farm for a short trip, it was really nice to have extra time to spend with my family without worrying about work."
Another employee, Li Xiao, who works in the product design team, added, "As a small growing company, we don’t have those over-the-top high-end benefits that big corporations offer, but the management always listens to our actual needs. Last month we mentioned that the workshop drinking fountain was old and had slow water flow, and they replaced it with a new one within 3 days. This kind of small, practical care makes us feel really valued as part of the team."
Whole Chain Tech’s down-to-earth employee care extends far beyond holiday benefits. The company holds monthly group birthday parties for all staff whose birthdays fall in that month, provides free working meals and drinking water for all employees, organizes quarterly team dinners or short outdoor hiking activities, and regularly distributes daily labor protection supplies for frontline production staff. The management also holds monthly face-to-face communication meetings with all employees to listen to their feedback and suggestions on work arrangements and benefits, and responds to all reasonable demands within 3 working days.
"We are a small but cohesive team, and every one of our 40 employees is an indispensable part of our company," said Mr.Xiao, co-founder and administrative director of Whole Chain Tech. "We can’t offer those super high-end benefits that large enterprises have right now, but we try our best to provide sincere, practical care for every team member within our capacity. The May Day holiday is a perfect opportunity to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication over the past months. We believe that when employees feel respected and cared for, they will be more dedicated to making high-quality products for our clients."
